Who thought that love couldn’t be found on Instagram was completely wrong!
That’s exactly how Deb & Steele’s love story began. After a mutual friend posted a photo of Deb on her Instagram, Steele started ‘following’ Deb and liking her photos but never took the courage to message her. So one Oktoberfest Deb built up enough liquid courage to drunk direct message Steele, and the rest is history!
Love it or hate social media, it totally worked for these guys.
How Steele popped the question? On Steele’s birthday, they went back to Steele’s hometown to celebrate his big day. It was his birthday morning; they had breakfast with the family and followed by a swim. When they went back to Steele childhood bedroom, he sat Deb down and asked her to marry him.
According to Deb, it was a smart move because she couldn’t say no on his birthday, haha. Well played, Steele, well played!
